How do I apply for short courses?

In the future Whistling Woods International will be offering short courses, seminars and festivals. Information on these courses will be announced on the website. Please subscribe to our newsletter to be kept updated.

Are there any crash courses?

We do not offer crash courses. The feedback we typically receive from filmmakers who did not attend a film school is that a two-year intensive programme, such as Whistling Woods, would have reduced their ‘struggle’ period in the industry by 7-10 years. This is based not only on what students actually learn in class, but also on the personal networks that students develop. Stepping out into the industry, already knowing hundreds of talented young writers, directors, producers, cinematographers, editors, sound designers and actors gives Whistling Woods International graduates an enormous advantage over others who have attended short courses.

What if I have other questions to ask?
