On August 18, 2006, all the staff, faculty and top-management were requested to be present in the Auditorium on at 4:30 pm by means of extremely colourful, creatively written invites. Not knowing what to expect, approx 120-150 people landed up
What came forth was breathtaking. Commencing with a ‘traditional’ lamp-lighting and a A/V using key tunes of Mr Subhash Ghai’s films, dance performances, song performances, mimicry, poetry recitals, stunts demonstrations followed in an extremely emotionally charged hour. Thanking Mr Subhash Ghai for the institute and an opportunity to realize their dreams, the students followed it up by a free-for-all dancing session involving dragging Mr Ghai on the dance stage, who gladly and passionately shook a leg with the students.
This definitely was a clear indication that Whistling Woods is a family, and an institution beyond the institution itself…
