While industry leaders and prominent Film and TV personalities have been lending their support to visiting Whistling Woods International, Filmcity, Mumbai, by coming-on as guest faculty and conducting master-classes, a number of leading corporates have come forward to support the students by offering them internships – an integral part of the 2-year program - enabling them to apply the knowledge that they have gained over the 1st year to real-life media industry scenarios.
During their month-long end-of-term break in the month of June, students are undergoing internships at Adlabs, Rajshri, ZEE TV, Percept Pictures, Pixion, Prime Focus, Anirights, Mirchi Movies and Mukta Arts Ltd. These being the first, several media organisations have come forward to support the students of Whistling Woods International.
Whistling Woods International offers specialized courses in Acting, Animation, Production, Cinematography, Direction, Editing, Sound Recording & Design and Screenwriting with 130 students in its 2-year full-time residential programs at present. Admissions are open for next batch starting July 2007 with applications closing shortly.
