Master of Abstract Film - Rajat Kapoor at Whistling Woods International.

March 07 , 2008

7th February 2008: Noted Actor and Director of critically acclaimed films like Raghu Romeo, Mixed doubles and Mithya, Rajat Kapoor led an interactive session with students of WWI.

Rajat considers his life as a series of accidents, except one. He knew very early on that he would make films one day. Films that would not be  run –of – the – mill stories. Almost all his films talk about the journey of the protagonist, where the journey determines the flavour of the film. Mithya was one such film. It is hence very difficult to categorize Rajat’s films into a particular genre.

He was happy to share that abstract films have now found an audience in multiplexes. Hence now young filmmakers can aspire to bring a germ of an idea to life- by making a film.
