Whistling Woods International has tied up with Saregama India Ltd. for the launch of a unique album series ‘ The Underground”. The album contains songs from budding talent that till now had limited local appeal but has a huge ability to become mainstream. Students from WWI have created music videos for 5 artists in the album series and these will compete with the music videos produced by other film schools in a music video competition in association with myspace.com . All the music videos will be hosted on myspace.com and the winning team with the maximum votes on myspace.com will receive an all expense paid trip to Los Angeles, California to visit Universal Studios & Fox Studios. One team nominated by Whistling Woods will also receive a music video contract from Saregama India Ltd.

Students from Whistling Woods International have produced, directed and edited these music videos for “The Underground” album featuring artists like :Gaurav Issar, DJ Tushka, DJ Func, Boy Snow Mountain and Sawan Dutta. The videos will be hosted on Myspace.com..All the WWI student videos received excellent reviews when showcased to the press and the industry at the launch of the album recently.
