Mahesh Bhatt and Whistling Woods Dean discuss the roles of film education

Renowned film director Mahesh Bhatt met with the Dean, Mr Kurt Inderbitzin to discuss a number of topics relating to film education.

They both acknowledged the significance of film students' awareness of their own cultural heritage, and expressing this through creative and individual work. Mr Inderbitzin outlined plans to involve Whistling Woods International students in a variety of community service programmes. They further discussed the diversity of filmmaking tradition and styles throughout India and Asia and the importance of film education in preserving and supporting this diversity. Mr Bhatt then toured the Whistling Woods campus with the Chairman, Subhash Ghai.
