This course develops communication strategies to articulate an “experience” in to a written “expression” in general and specific to each media stream. It intends to enhance a student’s possibility for ideation, imagination, writing and evaluation skills in order to create original content. Through a series of writing projects, students in this course learn to incorporate common literary devices and narrative structures into their creative endeavors.

Learning Objectives

To initiate students into the craft of creative writing

To help them develop their own capacity for enjoying, understanding and discovering stories

To prepare the students to think and present their ideas effectively - be it any media.

To make them discover and understand the innate structure of each story

To equip them with an understanding of the technical aspects of creative writing

To teach all students to pen down their own ideas using the principles of creative writing
