Overview

Intro to the Analog Recording Chain and Mac OS 10.5.X covers basic computer skills inclusive of the understanding of the Apple Macintosh OS and some audio recording knowledge, such as a basic understanding of recording techniques, processes, and equipment. 

Learning Objective 

To learn the basic recording chain and analog mixer concepts on the Pro- Tool software.

Introduction to Pro Tools covers basic Pro Tools principles, giving you everything you need to complete a Pro Tools project, from initial set up to final mix down. This course focuses on Pro Tools 8 software and Pro Tools LE system. It covers a multitude of new functions and feature enhancements. Whether your project involves recording of live instruments, MIDI sequencing of software synthesizers, or audio editing or region looping, this course will give you the basic skills to succeed. The course provides the foundation for the later 200-series Pro Tools Music Production and Post Production courses.
