While the Supreme Court verdict, which has placed Whistling Woods in an unfairly vulnerable position, has caused much distress all around, the faculty of the institute would like to assert its unconditional support and solidarity with Mr. Subhash Ghai in this situation.

The strength of any educational institution is the merit and dedication of its teachers. In the case of WWI, the faculty was hand-picked from among the best in the industry. We have among us some of the most respected senior professionals in their field, as well as bright young people – all of whom have compromised with a promising career in the industry to pursue their teaching ideals. Given this degree of dedication, combined with the emphasis that the institute lays on constant upgradation of curricula and techniques, it is no wonder that, in a short span of six years, WWI has garnered a formidable reputation as one of the more respected media institutes in the world. An objective yardstick for the quality of training being offered here is the fact that more than 80% of our ex-students are gainfully employed in their respective fields.

We have been witness to the unstinting passion and hard work that has gone into the making of this institute, and hence are completely confident that WWI will emerge stronger and more determined from this current situation.

We would like all stakeholders, well-wishers and, especially, future students and their parents to know that the entire faculty continues to stand by the ideals of WWI, and is committed to be with the institute whether the campus continues where it is, or shifts to another location in Mumbai.
