| No, specific experience in film making is not a prerequisite, but we do look for people who can demonstrate creative aptitude and a love of film or television. A description of any creative work you may have done in the past, be it in theater, music, art, writing, photography or film will help us in assessing your application. |

| What type of degree or certificate will I receive from Whistling Woods International? |

| Students who successfully complete our two-year, full-time programme receive a diploma upon graduation. This diploma will be considered for advanced standing at many universities internationally for students wishing to complete a bachelor?s or master?s degree.

| What assistance can Whistling Woods International offer me in finding work after graduation? |
|
| The Career Placement Division of Whistling Woods International will assist graduates with their portfolios, show-reels, auditions and resume. Student films will be displayed to the entire film and television fraternity, introducing new talent and technicians to the employers and decision makers of the industry. Selected student films will be submitted to various national and international film festivals. An online student database will be available to directors and producers. Students who have demonstrated ability and promise may be offered work on Mukta Arts Ltd. and Mukta Tele Media projects

| Are scholarships and awards available through the school?
|
|
| Yes. Scholarships are offered in the second year of study, after assessment of performance and demonstrated aptitude in the first year. Students may be eligible for a tuition fee reduction of between 25% and 50%.

| How do I know if I have it in me to become an actor? |
|
| If you feel a desire to be on stage on screen, if you enjoy expressing yourself through your face, voice and body, If you are interested in the lives of different kinds of people and in exploring all the facts of your personality and discovering the uniqueness in your own personality and if you are willing to put in the work on yourself physically, mentally and emotionally then you can probably have it in you to become an actor. |

| What will be the method of training? |
|
| The method of training is almost entirely practical in nature. In addition to training you would be going through yoga, dance, fitness, voice classes etc. Your imagination will also be trained so as to your primary tool as an actor. It will be a through demanding training. |

| Do I have the opportunity to act in film student movies? |
|
| Yes, acting in students movies is very much a part of your training. |
