Principle Responsibilities & Duties
Duties include teaching in areas of expertise, committee work,
administrative duties, student assessment and advisement,
curriculum development, generation of course materials and
lesson plans, supervision of internships and independent study
productions and continuing professional work. |

Selection Criteria
Ideal candidates will possess a post-graduate degree or equivalent
professional experience in any area of filmmaking, professional
experience, undergraduate teaching experience in any area
of filmmaking, strong interpersonal skills and a commitment
to undergraduate teaching. |

| WWI evaluates the following criteria
in assessing applicants: |

Comprehensive knowledge and experience in
respective field and awareness of the latest technology
and equipment available. |
|
Industry recognition. |
|
Teaching experience at the tertiary level and a demonstrated
ability to design and implement courses. |
|
Ability to provide academic leadership and to provide
strategic input into broad curriculum. |
|
Management skills including the ability to manage, motivate
and develop staff Communication skills including the ability
to articulate both the technical and creative aspects
the filmmaking process, enthuse and inspire students and
encourage new ideas. |

A thorough understanding of the history and structure
of the Indian and global film industries. |
