Celebrate Cinema - NGO workshops

During Celebrate Cinema, volunteers from WWI's Student Social Cell organized a series of workshops to promote photography and animation among 100 children from different NGOs. The participating NGOs included Jeevan Aadhar Transformative Aftercare Services, Salaam Baalak Trust, Dhai Akshar Educational Trust, World Vision India, and Teach for India. The workshops aimed to provide the children with an opportunity to learn and explore these creative mediums. The team from Terrence Lewis helped in conducting dance workshops.

The workshops spanned a full day, allowing the children to immerse themselves in the world of photography, dance, and animation. Our team guided them, teaching the fundamentals and techniques of these art forms. The students of Actors' Studio also performed a street play to raise awareness of Dementia.

In addition to the workshops and screening, World Vision India and Movement India set up stalls to sell their products, providing an opportunity to raise funds and promote their causes.

To ensure inclusivity, a special fun activities session was arranged for volunteers and members of the Alzheimer's and Related Disorders Society of India (ARDSI). These activities aimed to engage and entertain attendees, fostering a sense of joy and camaraderie among everyone present.

Overall, the workshops, screening, stalls, and fun activities created a vibrant and enriching event. The children had the chance to explore their creativity, NGOs had a platform to showcase their work, and ARDSI members and volunteers enjoyed a memorable experience. This event brought together various stakeholders, fostering collaboration and engagement within the community.
