Students and faculty of DePaul University, Chicago visited WWI from December 2–13, 2019, as part of the student exchange programme.
For three weeks, they studied India and its culture through the lens of films. Documentary techniques taught in the fall, prepared students for the intensive cultural immersion along with a hands-on workshop. Students collaborated with an NGO under the guidance of filmmakers from Whistling Woods International. They also created an original visual media project while they travelled to see the Taj Mahal, the immense desert palaces and forts of Jaipur and the abandoned city of Fatehpur Sikri.
